A number with people behind it
At the October Argyle ISD School Board meeting, the Argyle Education Foundation presented $172,831.22 back to the district. The presentation recognized funds invested during the 2025–2026 school year. That distinction matters: the check celebrates a year of support, rather than announcing a new amount available for a single program.
The total reflects the generosity of donors, sponsors, community partners, and other supporters. It also offers a useful starting point for anyone asking what the Foundation actually does. AEF brings community support into practical opportunities for students, teachers, and staff throughout Argyle ISD.

Supporting the people in our schools
The year's impact included 400 teacher bonuses, teacher and staff appreciation initiatives, and Teacher of the Year recognition awards. These are different forms of support with a shared focus: recognizing the people whose work shapes the school experience every day.
A bonus, an appreciation initiative, and a recognition award are not interchangeable. Keeping those categories separate helps supporters understand the range of AEF's work without assuming that every dollar was used in the same way. The annual total is not an itemized breakdown, and this article does not assign dollar amounts to individual programs.

Room for classroom possibilities
Teacher grants, in partnership with the CoServ Charitable Foundation, were also part of the 2025–2026 investment. Grants are one way community support can connect with ideas from educators. AEF's classroom photographs offer a glimpse of that connection, bringing students, teachers, and supporters into the same story.
For educators interested in future opportunities, start with current Foundation information rather than assuming a past grant announcement is an open application. CoServ's educator resources direct interested applicants to their education foundation. Ask AEF about the current process, eligibility, and timing before making plans around a potential grant.

Helping students take their next step
Senior scholarships were another part of the year's impact. They sit alongside teacher support and classroom grants within the Foundation's broader mission: strengthening opportunities for the people of Argyle ISD. Each program serves a different moment in a student's or educator's journey.
Families exploring scholarships should read the current scholarship page and the requirements for each program. A past recipient's photograph celebrates an achievement; it does not mean applications are open today. Confirm the next application window and submission instructions with AEF, especially before relying on a deadline saved from a previous year.
Choose a way to stay involved
There is more than one way to be part of the next chapter. A one-time gift through the AEF Impact Fund supports the Foundation's work. Friend of the Foundation offers a year-round monthly giving option, with suggested amounts of $5, $10, $25, $50, or another amount meaningful to the donor.
For those who prefer to gather with the community, the 2027 AEF Gala, An Old Hollywood Affair, is scheduled for April 24, 2027 at The Reserve at Marty B's in Bartonville. Use the dedicated Gala page for the official Save the Date, sponsor menu, and ticketing link. Questions about giving, volunteering, or the right next step can go directly to Cara Armstrong.
